Champion Australian Stayer  Shocking served a stellar book of mares in his first season at Rich Hill Stud and is once again proving popular with breeders in 2012. A magnificent individual, Shocking was a dual G1 winner, with brilliant acceleration and is the only Australian G1 winning entire by Street Cry to stand at stud in Australasia.Shocking's race record was ample proof of his ability and stamped him as one of the most versatile racehorses in Australia over the last decade.  He had the brilliance to win the G2 Makybe Diva Stakes over 1600m, the class to win the  G1 Australian Cup over 2000m and the courage to trounce an international field in the G1 Melbourne Cup over 3200m.

Shocking is syndicated among a number of leading New Zealand breeders with Eales Racing retaining a significant share. His trainer Mark Kavanagh is also taking up a share.
