Bertolini (USA), was a brilliant sprinting son of the world's greatest sire of sires Danzig, and is a grandson of USA Broodmare of the year "Courtly Dee". Being a three quarter brother to Champion sire "Green Desert", and a Group 1 performer for 3 consecutive seasons in Europe (including a Gp 3 win & Gp 1 placing at 2 yrs), suggests that Bertolini has all the credentials necessary for success at stud.The Danzig sire line continues to dominate our racing through the deeds of Anabaa, Belong To Me, Desert Sun, Desert Prince and of course Danehill and his sire sons. Bertolini is owned by Darley and stands in the Northern Hemisphere under the Darley banner. He stood for four consecutive seasons from 2002 to 2006. Bertolini  sired three individual stakesperformers from his first New Zealand crop and was a leading first season sire in both hemispheres. He has continued to sire talented racetrack performers in Australasia including 2007/08 stakes winners All in Brawl and Juice.
