"She's a quality mare and up to black type level this preparation," Cambridge trainer Tony Pike said. "I might give her a run in the Rich Hill Mile (Gr.2) with a light weight."
"She's got an amazing turn of foot and she came from an impossible position earlier this year to win the Douro Cup going away."
Skyweka, who is also nominated for the Gr.1 Thorndon Mile, now has five wins and five placings from her 12 starts.
Another Pentire five-year-old mare to win impressively at Te Rapa was the Stephen Marsh-trained What A Diva (pictured).

"She's in the Dunstan Stayers Final (2200m) at Ellerslie on New Year's Day, and that's the logical next-step with her," said Marsh after Saturday's success.
"She's always shown us plenty, and she was only beaten two-and-a-half lengths in the St Leger last autumn. I think having strengthened now, she'll be a Cup's prospect this time round in the autumn."
