First Southern Hemisphere Foal for Sir Percy

Sir Percy x Dear Diary (Desert Prince) colt born 21/08/10

Champion English Racehorse Sir Percy had his first southern hemisphere foal born at Rich Hill Stud, NZ on Saturday morning.   Sir Percy was an undefeated champion 2YO in England, winning four from four including the Dewhurst Stakes Gr1 and he trained on at three to win the English Derby.
The well related colt is from Dear Diary, a daughter of Desert Prince and he is a half brother to the Graeme Rogerson trained stakes winner Pocket Diary.   Sir Percy’s first foal was bred by Rich Hill Stud in partnership with world renowned Japanese breeder Katsumi Yoshida.   Rich Hill stud master John Thompson was very impressed with the colt which “exhibits all the quality and athleticism of his sire."
